I would love for them to drop YRGM, Jump, Panama as standards. From the last tour, if I had to drop a few they would be I'm the One, Pretty Woman, Atomic Punk. You know they're gonna drop some of those for new songs. I hope they throw in some gems like On Fire, Outta Love Again, Light Up the Sky. As long as they mix it up a little.

The show will probably open up with a song off the new album like Tattoo! You know they will play a bunch of stuff off the new album to promote it with older hits like Panama and Jump sprinkled in!

odd enough. Back in the day VH was a couple of tours away from starting the show with a drum solo...

Let's be realistic, of course the set list is pretty much put together, but it would great to bring out a few classic deep cuts that they have not played in some time.........
If the set is maybe 24 tunes or so, it would be great to get three or four old deep cuts in there, plus of course say four or five new tunes......and I know that they played a short set at the LA Forum, but hopefully that isn't the full set list.
The hits are going to be there and we all know what we want to hear and not hear........
Four songs I would love to see introduced into the set are Hear About it Later, Drop Dead Legs, In a Simple Rhyme, and The Full Bug.
Songs off the new album I would love to hear live are Blood and Fire, As Is, Honeybabysweetiedoll, You and Your Blues, and China Town.......
I think it's a fair assumption that the band would want to try out any new songs from the set list at one of the three warm up gigs so that means that there will be 5 new songs.

Just to be clear this isn't the setlist I want and I have no inside information.
It's just my best guess but I would be surprised if I am more than a few songs out.
Reasons for my choices of the 8 are
There is bound to be a drum solo.
I think Wolfie likes Romeo Delight as an opportunity to shine, it used to be an opener
Roth seems to be a fan of Mean Street doing it on a TV show and acoustically in the last decade.
Atomic Punk and So This is Love are big songs
Pretty Woman was a hit (unfortunately)
Little Dreamer or Jamie’s Cryin’ bit of a coin toss but LD slightly better known
I'll Wait - Successful single. (They really shouldn't do it for a couple of reasons hopefully Roth may veto)

Last tour at opening night in CLT I texted setlist updates to one of the other members (I think it was at Von's site) during the show.
since I'm gonna at opening night again (this time in KY), I could do the same, if we get a volunteer on the other end. Let me know.
I thought about posting directly to the site from my phone, but it's just a bit too cumbersome for a simpleton like me.

Dropping Atomic Punk? In 07, Everyone went nuts for that. I like OUTTA SPACE, Somewhere in the first 3-5 songs. That will get anyplace, anywhere in the country rock'n.

I was pretty good at the start and end, usually ok for the first 13 and last 3 but I'm happy I got some of these wrong and never expected a changing set list with some deep cuts.
Pretty sure we have Wolfgang to thank for that.
