Funny the best response they got from the audience was a Jimi Hendrix tune. Fucking Spambo the thief. Always riding on someone elses great music.

Other than their new music sucking, these guys are making a huge mistake refusing to play the songs they are best known for. When I saw Dave do his Vegas stint he really avoided any VH or EEAS stuff. But he did manage to play Jump & Ice Cream Man.
Chickenfoot owes it to these paying fans to at least drop 2-3 Sam songs & 2-3 Satch songs and possibly 1-2 VHagar tunes into the set. So what? We're talking possibly 5-6 songs out of 15? 2 Chickenfoot tunes, 1 old catalogue...rinse & repeat for 90 minutes. At least the few fans they have will walk away happier.
Disappointing the fans they have like this just assures that the audiences will get smaller & smaller & smaller. Sad really. Mostly I feel bad for big fans that go because they hear "Sammy Hagar & Joe Satriani!" & pay $50 and then don't hear one song they recognize.
That Eddie interview with Esquire that left some here wondering if he will ever play Van Hagar songs again.....the sht is so bad that SAMMY WONT EVEN PLAY THE CRAP! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
chickenfootnote is dead...one half of the few fans they had came from the coattails of sam's stint in VH...the other half are probably satriani fans...after his "no creativity we are man for man better than VH" talk even the most die hard fatso fans said "no no, you don't say that" and now he pays for it...that's it sam, you are officially done...all what is left for you is to pretend that you are happy to play in your lousy texmex-club and to sell salty salt drinks...
Hagar: "Hey, I still hate the way the treated Mikey, but the kid is the real deal. He dealt with Dave like i've never thought anyone could and played his ass off. If he can make Dave sound that good and Ed is healthy, you never know"..
Why is every compliment from Sammy backhanded?
Insecure bastard.
I think Diamond Dallas Page is gonna sue 'em.
My two cents....that's all I'm giving here.
1) Chicken-Scratch sucks!
2) Next for Sam will be to get all the guys from Montrose (Minus Ronnie) and do a Montrose tour.
When you turn on your stereo, does it return the favor?

I once read somewhere online a commentary to one of those awful pics with Hagar and Mike Anthony doing that hand thing, just like that one above: 'Mike and Sammy make the shape of a vagina'. And to think that when VH were inducted - in absentia, you'd have to say - into the RRHOF, that's what you got to see.
It was pictured on the inside of -- cough, spluttter -- OU812, wasn't it. I'm sure Sammy thinks it is something 'deep', or that he's doing something deep - like, 'hey dudes, forget the peace sign, I came up with one even better.'
THINK LIKE THE WAVES
Spammy's new idea to do the forty year career tour next year I believe is fully rooted in those horrible ticket sale numbers for CF - which has to be killing Mr. Irrelevant. Who wants to bet that his new idea of the forty year retrospective will not sell many seats either and certainly will not get him back into the stadiums/arenas. That might be the finest moment next year if he tries it to see the mediocre ticket sales for that "tour". Also bet that the ads/commercials for it will certainly be heavy on the VH/Other Half portion of the show to sell tickets. I really don't think the Montrose angle will do much in the way of sales.
I have been a long - time lurker and have been on this site for the last eight years at least. The usual cast of characters here really make me laugh and maybe I can chime in with some crudeness of my own at times. This site rocks and I am glad it has been here for me to enjoy. Thanks!
I was wondering if the next time Sam opens his piehole, we can shove oxygen tanks in his mouth so Chief Brody can get a shot with the M-1 rifle?
Hagar:
… for him to be thrown out of Van Halen is the biggest joke ever. To me, I can’t even respect that band anymore. Come on. Throw me out, yeah, sure, I’m unreasonable sometimes, but Mikey? He never even argues with you! Mike’s the first guy there, he knows his parts, and he’s the last guy to leave. He’s the most dedicated band member I’ve ever worked with in my life, and the most consistent.
Like I said, first guy there, has his shit together, never, ever says “I forgot my part”… he’s like a machine, and he’s fun and he’s soulful. Why you wouldn’t want him in a band, man, I don’t know.
Van Halen’s loss is Chickenfoot’s gain I’d say.
(Laughs) Oh yeah – I said that Chickenfoot didn’t want to be an opening act for another band, unless it was on a festival, but if we got the opportunity, I’d open for Van Halen! (laughs) Any day… I’d do it for free, I’d pay the whole tour out of my own pocket!
Well, here's a theory...
It's basically two "devil horns" put together to form "the all seeing eye/pyramid" (á la Jay-Z's "diamond" handsign symbolism silliness)
So, has Spam made a deal with the devil to ensure his cuntinuing "success"?
Don't know, don't care. 'Cause no matter who you have as your mental man-bra/jockstrap, Spam... you're still a soul-sucking scumbag who attained a level of fame which you DIDN'T deserve in the first place.
Hagar being a "musician" and Roth isn't is a joke. Hagar is an insecure businessman. He does nothing that isn't about making money. Yes he does treat his customers well and is the hard rock Jimmy Buffet. But his contribution to Van Halen is overstated.
Every record post 5150 steadily declined in rapid fashion. Roth actually worked longer on 5150 than Hagar but he hated it and it sounded awful (those tapes still exist, but not at 5150 so I assume Alex has them). That record was essentially done when Hagar came in. Majority of his "contribution" was really Mick Jones' contribution as Hagar was a drunken child in the studio. He can rewrite history but in VH terms he simply is not a peer of Roth. Plus the negativity now is not consistent with his Jimmy Buffet brand so I suspect for business purposes he should change his tune.

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. — Sammy Hagar says he’s not surprised the Van Halen tour with David Lee Roth seems to be crumbling.
He’s only surprised it took this long. The band postponed dozens of concerts that had been scheduled for this summer, without giving a reason.
But Hagar, who had replaced Roth in the band and fronted Van Halen for more than a decade, thinks he knows why.
He says brothers Eddie and Alex Van Halen are hard to get along with. If they weren’t, Hagar says, he’d still be in the band.
Hagar made the comments in response to a question from The Associated Press on Friday in Atlantic City, where he donated $10,000 to a church food pantry before a concert with his current band, Chickenfoot.

Hagar needs to learn two words.." no comment"...You don't have to answer every single VH question you are asked...of course, that would pretty much give him nothing to talk about.
Sheep Cunt spews forth in predictable fashion
Wait a sec... Spam didn't actually SAY this, did he?
Risking that I'm getting punked here by a clever Roth Army fauxgarhita quote, here is my retort:
Mike's dismissal was a necessary evil. Was it handled the best way? Probably not. But it's Van Halen we're talking about - Spam of all people should understand THAT. Without Mike being sent to pasture, there would be no Wolf. Without Wolf, there would be no Edward. Without Eddie Van Halen, there would be no Van Halen because there would be no Dave if there was no Ed, which ends with the same result of the equation. Cripes, an arm-chair band manager such as myself can figure this out without even taking the Ray Danniels School of Rock Band Fuckery night class.
Tell me I just wasted my time on this phony quote...
My karma just ran over your dogma.

"He says brothers Eddie and Alex Van Halen are hard to get along with. If they weren’t, Hagar says, he’d still be in the band."
No Sammy, you were kicked out because 'Van Hagar' was no longer a viable project - in the studio or on tour - as we all saw in 2004. And while the brothers are indeed difficult to get along with, or were, they had also had enough of your embarrassing lyrics and disrespectful attitude to their early music. You are an insignificant try-hard. Go away.
In many ways the perfect band would be a Dave fronted VH with Hagar as their business/PR manager with no musical input.
