And there is no comparison when it comes to frontmen. Dave kicks Sam's ass all over the stage, every time. A good frontman is about showmanship more than anything. The only one who ever had the voice AND the showmanship was Freddie Mercury.

The music speaks for itself. If there were two identical arenas in every town on the upcoming tour, and VH played one and Chickenfoot played the other on the same night, the VH show would be full and the Chickenfoot show would be at about 50% capacity.
"Supergroups" (and I use that term very loosely in the case of Chickenfoot) generally tend to be non-factors. People generally don't invest themselves too deeply in them because they're not really a band...they're just a place for individual musicians to fuck around.
Factor in a mediocre talent like Hagar and there's even less reason to be interested.

OK Sammy. I’ve been a fan, I’ve gone two Cabo twice (thrice in about 4 weeks), had front row for 5 VH with Sammy shows, been to a couple Sammy solo shows….It is time to STFU.
Judging from what I have heard so far, this VH album is better than 5150, OU812, 4UCK, and Balance. I don’t care if most of the songs are demos redone. Maybe you don’t have any oldies because you released too many average albums instead of quality albums. I think there is room for VH to have another album of oldies redone (Just What You Wanted, Piece Of Mine, No More Waiting…)
