Hey psycho, please get out of my Van Halen T-shirt before you jinx the band and they break up.
Such life like graphics. What next? Breaking out of a silver egg ?
time to bring the thread back, as Sam was desperately asking for the competition and comparism...infamous thunderrolling chickenpoop tour starts today...guess their performance will shock the world and nobody will buy any VH tickets anymore...

The band sounded tight......but Hagar was awful. Once again he delivers a generic sounding, one-dimensional vocal performane, demonstrating no 'feel' for the song at all. No menace, no attitude - nothing interesting or cool about his peformance at all...just the same old delivery time and time again. Whether it's vocal treatment, lyrics or songwriting, he has always struggled for creativity.

HH!! How's things? Are you still body checking Hagarites up against the boards at the VHND? Hope all is well.
Ah Sammy sounds ok singing Foxy Lady, it's just when you hear him try and preach his own lyrics, that turns me off. His interpretation of the world, his reality. That's when his vocals are at their lamest.
"BAD" doesn't do this cheeseball justice!
The guy makes Fred Durst look like Robert Plant!
BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHHHAAAAHAHAHHHAHHA HAHAHA!!!!
Ran into Sammy today. He was out on his bad motor scooter
Check this out. I googled "Sammy Hagar Stupid" and the following images and story on Flickr came up. There's multiple images (some are on the upper right side of the screen) that say, "All Rights Reserved" so I didn't want to post here.

Sammy still doesn't like talking about that one particularly long night in 1984 filled with Mas Tequila...

Chickenfoot at the Fillmore Auditorium, 5/9/12 (photos)

Former Van Halen stalwarts Sammy Hagar and Michael Anthony converged with guitar wizard Joe Satriani and skins pounder Kenny Aronoff under the banner of Chickenfoot at the Fillmore Auditorium on Wednesday. In perhaps a bold attempt to claim an independent identity, the band resisted the natural urge to play any songs from either Van Halen or the solo careers of Hagar and Satriani. A loose but rousing rendition of Hendrix’s “Foxy Lady” served as the evening’s high point of energy, perhaps due to its global familiarity in the midst of Chickenfoot’s somewhat underground catalog. Satriani validated his reputation as a virtuoso player, while Hagar perpetuated his cult status of a beach loving party singer who can’t stop having a good time. Anthony reminded everyone that his background vocals were integral to the Van Halen sound, and Aronoff did a competent job of temporarily handling the drum duties of Chad Smith (of Red Hot Chili Peppers). While the band clearly enjoyed playing together, the half-filled venue was demure in its applause. Perhaps as a direct response, Chickenfoot made the rather unexpected decision to not return for an encore.

Half filled = 2000 poor souls.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!
I feel sorry for Mike, Joe and Kenny......
But I think it is divine justice that Spambot is not getting the credit he thinks he deserves.
"Chickenfoot’s somewhat underground catalog."
LOL - their catalogue is indeed 'underground'...... for all the wrong reasons. And I think that's exactly what the writer was hinting at.
"While the band clearly enjoyed playing together, the half-filled venue was demure in its applause. Perhaps as a direct response, Chickenfoot made the rather unexpected decision to not return for an encore."
Or according to Sammy...... "Man we were neck and neck with the Van Halen tour - sold out two nights in just a few minutes!"
there goes the competition...how high was the bar again you set for a four piece rock band, Sammy?
Jeez - people get paid for writing shit like that? It's like a description of a box of soap powder. The guy clearly has no enthusiasm but trots out a host of banalities , "Anthony reminded everyone that his background vocals were ..."
Now, I'm not one of those people who likes dissing Mike - the original band with MA in it, was the greatest. But ... these stupid journos. Only people who don't really know Van Halen's recorded work will keep saying "they really miss Mike's vocals". For your info, jerk reviewers everywhere, the background vox on pretty much everything were by Anthony ... and EVH, AVH and (sometimes) Roth. Granted, in live performance, Mike would often grab his nuts and scream way out of key and it seemed that he was the only one doing backgrounds, but that kind of thing would not be a good example of what made him valuable to the band.
