Only time i ever got thrown out of a gig was for fighting , went to see the wildhearts at the newcastle mayfair , classic mistake of meeting up with two different sets of friends and two people just mixed like dogs in the traffic and i spent all night keeping them away from each other totally spoiling my night , the band come on i turn away to watch sure enough i go flying as the two of them are throwing punches like girls trying to grab/wrestle each other .. so i was so pissed off i tried to seperate them ... and security thru the 3 of us out on our arses.. i was gutted .. but at least one of the lads offered to pay for my ticket a couple of weeks later when i had calmed down .

Anyways, I tried to scrap with him. Not at Slayer....Not at Megadeth...but at the fucking Men At Work concert! Go figure.

The most brutal fight I have ever witnessed at a concert was at a Jimmy Buffett show a couple years back in Chicago. Naturally, the idiot doing the talking (and who ultimately took a beating and ended up running as security came to the rescue - only to hide out in the shitter and get dragged out by the cops) was sitting right next to me. There was blood, there was pulled out hair, there was beer sloshing around everywhere.

If there is ever a show where throw-down, brawling fist-fights are completely, absurdly unnecessary - it's Jimmy Buffett. Some assholes simply can't hold their liquor. These are usually the pricks who go into a venue looking for an excuse to flex their biceps - the actual show is secondary.

So far I've downloaded every DVD available from this tour and they're all super good. Not having to be sneaky has its benefits and we're all winning.

I went to a lot of concerts alone in high school as a result of switching schools a lot & not having steady friends. I've seen some in the last 10 years alone as well. The Police reunion for 1. Although a concert is more fun with people who also love the band....I ultimately go for the show & NOT the company. So if no one here has ever seen a show solo, I recommend trying it. Very enjoyable.
