Me too. Had to make sure I found one where I could listen without downloading. I absolutely refuse to. The only thing I've ever downloaded illegally was the JC Superstar soundtrack. There are illegals out there, but I won't post the link. I found one site that had the entire album, supposedly... however, it only allowed downloads, no listens, and I am assuming you get a virus instead of tunes. If you search you can find them....

After listening to all the new tracks today, I revisited "Diamond Dave", which never was my favourite DLR album (to say the least). And I really liked it. You can hear the same vibes in DD and ADKOT. Now I think Dave is a very consistent artist. He follows his own path, with or without VH bros.

I don't know what the problem is with them being on the VH Radio site, since 94 WHJY in Providence, Rhode Island played both new songs "Blood & Fire" and "The Trouble With Never" a little while ago.
I think he's talking about your typing skills more than your commentary about the song.
Typing it that way I was attempting to convey the abysmal quailties of the song, it's probably a good thing I failed. If I had been successful at that you would have wanted to burn your keyboard (vomit and all), gouge out your eyes and cut your fingers off.
I found the others no problem, but I can't find Stay Frosty.
The problem TO US wasn't that it was on the VH Radio site, the problem was that it was being linked FROM HERE....

Oh I totally understand that, we are quite priviledged to have a relationship with the Van Halen camp, I just don't think having them on THEIR site hurts anything since they are being played on the radio for the world to hear.
I really don't get all the hate on the new VH songs.
I guess the stench Van Hagar left is still around.
Another thing is that it seems the last 28 years haven't been too kind to these haters. They are used to mediocrity I guess.
I also think these idiots don't even know what Van Halen was all about in that there was so much more than Jump, Panama, Hot for Teacher, etc.

I have to say, I'm really disappointed with the way the band (label?) is handling the release of these songs. At 7 years old in 1984 I bought "1984" (first tape ever) with my hard-earned allowance. I still have that tape, it means a lot to me. Now fast forward 25+ years later and the follow up is upon us... and I have to fucking deal with New Zealanders and Brits getting early/exclusive access to the new singles? I had to fucking hack a NZ site to get my order processed to pay double for Tattoo. You can't scream any louder for me to "steal" these tracks. I've bought every fucking vh & DLR album 3-5 times over. I have every cvh album in vinyl/tape/cd/remasters. I've been to over a dozen shows. I don't think this is the right way to treat the fans.
They should just release the singles to everyone at the same time, none of this region specific bullshit. I was fed up and just downloaded the tracks off my favorite torrent tracker. Sucks I have to go through these lengths to be satisfied.
