Yeah man, thats not it. Someone used the 1:30 sample (you can hear it start to fade) clip and spliced the first double kick riff over and over till the end. The clip I heard has a bunch of other cool twists and a solo section.

Big part of this album sounds like a direct follow-up to "Girl Gone Bad" and "Drop Dead Legs". For me it's the best direction Van Halen could take. I've always tried to imagine what would have happen if they hadn't split after "1984". Would they try something heavier and more thrashy than "Fair Warning"? It seems that's exactly what they did in ADKOT.

I really like it. I heard from a review it was one to skip, from the original 30sec clip I thought they might be right. After listening to the longer itunes clip, I really like it.
The whole album is really shaping up, I am relieved they are trying to recreate the backing MA vocals in most if not all the songs.
EVH is definitely killing it on this new album.

The whole thing is heavier than i though it would be ... obvious when there using classic riffs but still it rocks even more than I hoped it would .
But am cooked, am done i gotta have it .gimme the cd so i can blast the shit out of it !

This is an All Killer No Filler album and who woulda believed that, it sounds fuckin huge on a production level, riff level, catchy chorus level, shit this thing ticks all the boxes. Dave coulda been a bit more upftont in the mix on some of them but i'm not complaining, this is the real deal ladies and gents and i for one is as happy as a pig in shit. This is waaaaaayyyy better than i thought it would be.
It's Wolfgang holding the high end and Ed pulling the low end on all the backing vocals... Pretty darn close to the classic VH harmonies.
