Why would anyone spend $350.00 to sit in the first 10 rows with a five star package or spend $150.00 for a 4 Star package to sit 10-20 rows when Van Hagar is playing to half empty arena's and there are tickets available in the first 5 to 15 rows at a cost of $85 from the box office?

A lot of the people who bought those tickets are feeling pretty "sheepish" right now.
I didn't buy a packae, but seriously considered it. (I seriously believed Dave would be making an appearance in this tour.) I think the people that did buy them thought that was including a meet and greet and all the bells and whistles. not just tickets and getting to hang around the stadium for hours before the show. Also, the packages, (5 star anyway) did sell out pretty fast... and everyone wants that limited edition shit. Four star packages went slower cause people actually stopped and asked themselves, now what will I be getting? and then discovered the answer was "screwed".
The only time i would pay money to see Van Hagar would be if Sammy shoves his moppy head up his own ass...

I watch VH ticket sales on all the major Boards,,you could buy anything you wanted for both nights Phili,,plenty of people walked up day of show and both floor 1-10 seats.
I got a 5 Star deal.....had Front Row, Ed's side....got a free VH shirt and cap.....had a really good spread for dinner, and all the free beer i wanted (good stuff, too...top brands)....i won a $85 embroidered hoody...met alot of cool people....and was right in front of Ed for soundcheck. Plus, i got 2 pics he gave me.....hell yeah it was worth every penny.....everyone that had a 5 Star was in the first 3 rows....been that way so far for each show. So, y'all can bite me....i had a blast.

I for one am glad that tickets for the show are reasonably priced on e-bay. $2.04 is something I can afford, and as much as "this is not Van Halen" it may well be the last chance ever to see the boys. Maybe by the time they hit Denver, the call will have been made, and Dave will be at the helm. But if that happens, then I won't be able to get tickets.

You are exactly right! This is unheard of, for a big National Touring rock group. Brokers/Dealers/Bulk secondary market ticket holders are talking fraud lawsuits against CCC big time for misrepresentation and fraudelently manuiplating ticket sales. I'll put a year's pay on the bet, these lawsuit will happen.
