The more I play the record, the more this one stands out to me - it's certainly not the best written song on the disc in the 'traditional' sense of the word, but it's free-form jam feel really kicks it up a gear....

Lately this one and Honeybabysweetiedoll have been battling for me "favorite" slot on the album. Currently As Is has the lead.
Strange tuning on this, is Ed using a string off a bass for the low E tuning it way down to B or something?

Yup, both those are on top of my list even back when we only had the sample clips.
Not just the best tune on the new album, but one of their best tunes period.
Straw poll at the weekend of 3 fans here and we all thought this is the best song on the album.
