Dave's voice hasn't noticeably changed in 30 years.

Daves' voice has changed ALOT over the years.... and i'm not saying that is a bad thing.

Long gone are the WHISTLE screams.... you would be a fool to believe those are still there!

I like Daves' voice now, it's alot deeper.... more bluesy... and the most important aspect of his voice is THE CHARISMA IS STILL THERE!!!!

If you're expecting him to BELT OUT unchained like it's 1981... it's not gonna happen...

However, it's by far the best Van Halen music recorded since 1984...
Dave has been good to us over the years... You know I remember staring in AWE at him at Cafe Wha?
He's a much older David Lee Roth.... The spandex and whistle screams are gone...
But don't be depressed over that... we have a much wiser and mature Roth still on top of his game!!
He is a much better song writer than he was 30 years ago... and dare I say more humble???
