holy shit! I just gotta say. this album is un-f*ckin-real! 28 years I've waited for this and I'm blown away by it.

No !@#$ing words.
I brought my pencil!!!
dunno whorehey, could be 'more like dat!'
I'm struggling through the process at the moment, with us throwing out 5 for every one we keep which is how it should be.
It's always struck me how ridiculous it is that most hard rock band people spend hundreds of hours on the 10 seconds of the guitar solo and 5 minutes on the vocal melody which is pretty much is all that matters.
Chickenshit for example.
No that is a complete myth going back to 5150.
When Roth left one of the stupid quotes that came out, from Alex and Eddie was that tuning down a step for Roth caused Ed a problem because it made the strings slack.
I've posted before about this. There are a few reasons it annoyed me.
1) It treated the Van Halen fan base as morons. A third of any Van Halen crowd played guitar and knew that was a nonsense.
2) Many many bands tune down not for vocal reasons which it doesn't make much difference to but to sound heavier.
3) EEAS wasn't tuned down.
4) 5150 was.
Ludicrous.
If in doubt best to go for cunting.
It's the only one that still works really anyway.
4 letters is just easier seshy me matey!!
backing vocals in the chorus of 'trouble with never' are outstanding. and the bassline under the solo/bridge.
I think the lyrics to "Blood and Fire" are some of the best on the album. You can hear Dave's joy in just singing the words. After all the shit they went through over the years and they are finally back together. Gives me chills just thinking about it. Still the best solo on the album too.
Blood And Fire Just Kicks Major Ass.
We Can We Can We Cannnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn.
First Roth Army Kiwi To See Van Halen Live 6/16/2012 Phoenix Arizona.
Then those spoken lyrics.......gee have I mentioned that before?
Through Blood And Fireeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

I went over and listened to about 8 songs. Heavy & killer album !!! The icing on Daves cake !! He is ALL the way back on this.
I"m so jealous. I have to wait until Wally World gets their act together!
"Stay Frosty" is the other song that has killer lyrics. Just amazing. When the hammering guitar comes in, it just wants to make you fucking bang your head.
I know Stay Frosty is going to be my favorite. Any song that delays that huge "hit" is killer on the car stereo. You really have to CRANK IT and try not to go off the road!
=VH= are you fucking kidding me??? I cannot believe I'm listening to =VH= !! This record has attitude, muscle and charm. This record should be a blueprint for the new millennium! 60 is the new 30! No band at 60 has ever rocked this hard and sounded this good. Fuck No. These boys need to do a World Tour! I won't even decide which song is best because I need to absorb this experience. Uh oh, album just ended,... repeat
Whoever mixed this record should be shot in the head. The sound is narrow, with very little separation between the r/l channels. Almost mono except for small bits in a few songs.
I'm no audio engineer... but damn.... my goldfish could do better.
Other than that, it's a fucking masterpiece.
there is a lot to explore on this record. how can they top this record?? =VH= gave us a 6-pack of 200 minutes or so of entertainment. This record has 50 minutes! =VH= was always punctual. here I only wish all the songs were 6 minutes!
Wouldn't his hands burn and sizzle, like holy water on a zombie?
every song is different! every song fucking rocks!
At fucking last...............walked into Sanity, and there it was 26 years of built up joy, sadness and anger. Slipped it in to my car CD, and off I went ....... VH have fucking landed!!!!
Wow, look at the all the people here tonight ?
Finally got to play the album.
Best album I have heard in over 25 years.
Some of the guitaring is so crazy I burst into laughter
in a fucking good way.
Eddie has reclaimed his throne, Dave sounds better than 1984....
Wolfgang kicks ass (nice to hear more than the root note in time
with Al's bass drum) And the old reverend Al is John Bonham # 2.
Honeybabiesweetiedoll blew my mind.
Theres shit on here that makes metallica sound like journey !
Welcome back old feeling, never thought we would meet again.
This totally belongs in the 7 pack, and is easily the best Rock comeback album
I have heard. I cant even think of something that comes close.

BABY PANA 2 IS Coming !! All across the land, let the love and beer flow !

BANG ON!!! No worries here about letting the fans (or non fans down) It's a fucking triumph. I cannot believe how good it is-a supreme offering. PHEW!!! Fuck the naysayers lol
