...Have a great time, fellas!!!
...They letting you shoot any video?
Are these sons a bitches lucky or what...
Va....right in the fucking front row center...
"Van Halen was one of the most hallelujah, tailgate, backyard, BBQ, arrive four hours early to the gig just for the parking lot bands. And still to this day is. It's an attitude. I think it's a spirit more than anything else is."
According to Romeo Delight...
Val is there...
Jon Lovitz...
and "someone from seinfeld..."
fucking Canadians...lmfao...
Damn it!!! If VH decides to toss out a roadie gig for Roth Army members I'm all over it!!
American by birth. Southern by the grace of God.
Back to a full kit it appears
Seriously...Val must be setting up a new sitcom...
with Jon Lovitz and someone from Seinfeld...
Maybe that's the name of the show...
"Someone from Seinfeld..."
or...
something original...
like...hmmm...
"Cafe Canceledamericana..."
Phenomenal...do you think they'll run through an "entire" show or just a glorified soundcheck? At any rate, thanks again for the footage, pictures, and info.
Are they going to play a full set? Will we now know the set list for the tour?
"Bumper sticker on my rocket's ass: go home, the earth is full." DLR
Wonder if the VH mini blimps are floating around.
Newman is on that show that comes on after Val's new one. Maybe it's him?
you lucky motherbastards HAVE A GREAT ONE FELLAS I WISH I WAS THERE... thirsty...
I had some crazy vision, one I can't deny it
It said "Open your eyes. Leave it all behind."
Will be interesting to see what songs from ADKOT make it as well as oldies that weren't on the last tour.
Seriously...I've been listening to the album non-stop for the past five hours or so...and it's bad ass...
In March...I'll rank the fucking thing in the seven-pack...no way this is their "worst" album of the seven...no fucking way...but need to get away from the newness of it...
and see them live...
I would love to hear 6 or so new tunes and the rest classics...
4 classics, 10 new songs and 10 deep cuts for me but I'm a bit odd.
And a dreamer.
Completely un-fucking-fair. You seem to forget that the guy kept a forum open for years, dedicated to a band that hadn't performed anything other than to exist on rumor or innuendo, and mostly myth since sometime in 1998, for Christ's sake. Look, I'm not about to shove my tongue directly into the fellow's anus for how he runs his site, but I honestly respect his efforts over the years, considerably more when I think of the "fans" he has to deal with.
“The greatest enemy of knowledge is not ignorance, it is the illusion of knowledge.”― Stephen Hawking
ADKOT is their finest work...deep writing both musically and lyrically...imo
I'm really into Big River right now. I think we all have our favorites, but ADKOT has layers we're all still exploring. But the magic is back...no doubt. I just hope we hope we get some deeper tracks and more than a few new cuts. But please leave in So This Is Love?
Ya know..I can feel the electricity in LA here in Va..crazy
I just wish they play China Town, Bullethead Big River and my FAVORITE AS IS
It's hard to take a step back right now...
I definitively like it RIGHT NOW...better than DD, WACF, VH2 and have it equal to 1984 (which will always be in my top three, regardless of some of the bashing it takes...and for a debate at a later date), with VH1 and Fair Warning.
Now, when I can look at the album as something other than this new piece of bitch-slapping that it is right now...I'll seriously rank it...but it's got to settle first...
Here we go motherfuckers!!!!!!
Showtime, bitches!!!
