Favorite Chorus from the new Album?

    Howdy y'all.

My account got corrupted somehow, and I'm starting over.

What's your favorite chorus on ADKOT?

You can tell an album is awesome if if keeps switching on you. I dug Big River first, then moved to Blood & Fire (which is so f*cking uplifting and inspiring cause it spells out our heros' long road back to OWN rock and roll). It took a moment to give it full attention, but I LOVE You And Your Blues's chorus. Epic.

That's why I loved Me Wise Magic...the old team that had a uplifting chorus and a more modern sound...yes Dave, I trust you. I could run through a brick wall when Dave asks "Tell me you believe...Do you believe...?"

We all believe, Dave. And I for one never expected an album so completely incredible this late in the game.

    What's your favorite?

... i'm only up to blood and fire (and you and your blues on the bonus disc) but i just love what they did with the you and your blues chorus. i have never heard van halen sound like that before ...

... and does any else agreed that blood and fire sounds like a song that could easily have been on diver down? amazing album and well worth the wait ...

I'd say Blood & Fire and You and Your Blues. Backgrounds are killer! You find yourself singing along to them. I like the whole record so it's hard to choose. It all rips!

'Beats Workin' puts me right back into my old backyard; the summer of 1978 listening to my neighbour blast 'Feel Your Love Tonight' out of his bedroom window.

During Blood and Fire when Dave yells "...ahhhhhhh say!" Might be the most invigorating moment, chorus or not, cause the master is back.

I think their choruses have gotten more amazing in a uplifting way than ever before...maybe cause we missed the real VH or so long.

Fixed it for ya... that's my favorite too - it's short & sweet but just sounds so fucking bad-ass!

Just the whole vibe of the song "beats working" The way the whole band jams it out torwards the end with the bass, cow bell and when Eddie comes in with the guitar. Would make a great live song to get the audience involved! They just crush it!

Blood & Fire chorus... because it really relates to how many VH fans feel about the band being back together after so much pain, and that will be fitting next year and even 2 decades from now. That song makes me think about motor racing too, winning!!!

    You and Your Blues

[Dave with just some killer power belting out -> "WOMAN(!)... YOU SUFFER FROM A COLOR" [then those beautiful soaring backing vocals - 'Ahhhh-ahhhhhhhhhhhh']
    "I suffered cause of you-uuuu" [... Ahhhhhh-ahhhhhhhhh]

Fucking awesome! Now if we could just convince him to do it live with a mic stand and give us some of those classic rock star poses when he's doing it!
