I have spent many, many more hours than usual glued to my

computer since this tour was announced. I tune in daily for any news,

and to read about other peoples road trips, and to plan our own.

I have watched the play by play of each show, each night here at

the Army, usually with my left elbow on the desk and my left hand

supporting my chin.

As a result my ring and little finger on my left hand are constantly

numb. My eyes are tired with bags under them from staring at the

screen, and I think my left hip has seized up.

Are any of you suffering from physical symptoms of Van Halenitis?

Yeah, I'm with ya. Keep telling myself to stop checking in, want my 3 shows to seem fresh, but I just can't help myself. Hasn't hurt that momshell has done such a bang up job with the live updates (thank you SO much!!!). 9, 11, and 15 days until the start and end of my own 2012 VH odyssey. Woooooah!

Definitely losing sleep over this. Keep finding myself sneaking back online to see what new has happened with VH since the last time I checked. After decades of no news is good news, I think the opening of the floodgates of information has gotten to me. It's a compulsion.

I must admit am a bit wrecked staying up for tweets and posts about set lists and the like , it's early/late in the uk when there playing ... Am pretty pissed at VH for mixing the set up
And playing long lost classics ... How dare they give the fans what they want :-)

Try being a student at this time...mid-terms were brutal...mainly because every time I sat down to study I would take a quick peak here first...to discover goodies from DDE, etc...and would still be here instead of studying 4 hours later.

I've smartened up for the rest of the term, dropped one class and I'm not allowed to come here until AFTER I've done at least 2 hours of homework.

I wish they could have done this before I went back to school...when I had money and could have easily seen at least two shows.

I don't know about this school shit... Gaining a huge debt load and missing out on this tour after waiting all these years...grrr
