Thanks Sparkie. I lost him just a year ago at age 12. My heart dog.
Oh dear.
Sadaist, you wouldn't want another boxer, would ya? Someone left theirs at a semi-local shelter. Poor thing. His name is Sammy. He's 8 and terribly depressed. I know he's across the country, but there are networks that transport animals to new far-away homes. Hell, I'm trying to adopt a kitten from California. I know it's strange, but he had some special needs and his adorable face just tugged, or more like yanked, on my heartstrings. I probably won't be able to get him, but I just had to try. They didn't say no...not yet, anyway.
Speaking of which, today, via FB, I heard about a 15 y/o cat in LA that was left at a shelter because her owner had to be put into a nursing home. She was down to her last few hours before she was to be euthanized. I had a contact via the kitten I'm trying to adopt so I sent word to them. Within 45 minutes, they had her. So sitting at a laptop all the way in SC, I played a small part in saving the life of this kitty in California. FB isn't all bad

I wish I could. I am currently between residences and the nights I choose to save the $50 motel cost and sleep in my truck aren't very pup friendly.
There is also a boxer rescue place in LA. They have a page for their seniors. So sad. A lot of dogs were just left at foreclosed houses when the people got evicted. Just left to fend for themselves. Horrible.

One of my Daffneys nicknames was MOMMAS DOO. I'll show you why.....
You know English is not my first language. I feel sorry because I never realized your dogs were gone. You are not alone, there are a lot more people crazy about animals!!!!sadaist;1632816]Well, both gone now sadly. Daffney made it a little past 7. Evander a little past 10 which I keep hearing is good for a boxer. But he was healthy as an Ox and then suddenly WHAM and 4 days later I was putting him down. Hit me pretty hard since I didn't have time to really prepare. But average for boxers is around 8 which is really lame.
I think that's kinda why I've been posting his pic here so much lately is I still haven't really taken it in. But it makes me happy to see everyone elses babies and how much they love 'em. For a while I thought I was the only crazy one
Did I kill the thread with my puppies pics? A bit too much "Aww, cute" for the Roth Army? Fuck you guys! Sammy Hagar can drink a used douche. (better?)
You didn't kill it! It's still going. I'll look for my "calendar shots".
Thanks Shoes.
I kinda wanted to see Ford & his pet alien he stole from a BCE compound. Or Nick with some German WWII fighter type dogs. Or Lounge with a dog that ridicules stupid posts. Perhaps Sniper or JHale with a shaggy breed? Some Aussies with a pet Dingo? I'd ask Sesh, but you know....DOG DOES NOT EXIST.
Eddie and......it´s a pomerania??? I will not make fun of it, absolutely not. Good, Eddie is smiling , he looks much healthier.sadaist;1633430]Did I kill the thread with my puppies pics? A bit too much "Aww, cute" for the Roth Army? Fuck you guys! Sammy Hagar can drink a used douche. (better?)
My big boy, Coleman. He hangs out with me in the office and helps me prowl the Roth Army site with animal grace, but he can't type for shit.

Another one of those classic genius posts, sure to generate responses. You log on the next day to see what your witty gem has produced to find no one gets it and 2 knotheads want to stick their dicks in it... Well played, sir!!
Damn those are some bit kittehs! I used to call those Evander snacks. (Where's da kitteh boy!) His dream cat was a giant one like that with 3 legs & no teeth or claws.
Problem with big kitties is they think they are small kitties & insist on lying on top of you & everything else way too small for them.
Wow! Coleman looks like Alan The Panther's little brother, lol!
When I was 8 and skiing with family I was run over by a drunk man snow skiing. Snapped my left femur. Was in traction for 6 weeks then a body cast for another 8. Anyways, in a body cast you just lay there. So my mom sent my sister & brother to get me a companion. Well, it kinda had to be something that was not very active, didn't really wanna play, and couldn't get away. I think my mom was thinking like a small caged mouse or a goldfish.
So? They came back with a big ol fat tarantula! (Mom was pissed!) I'd grab him & plop him on the chest of my cast. He'd watch tv with me all day. Ended up having him another 3 years. Cool pet. Thing is I wouldn't dare pick one up nowadays. but at 8 years old I was fearless with critters. Held him all the time. He looked exactly like this kind....
^Those things are my biggest fear. I can't even look at that pic.
In the 90's I had a photo of my girlfriend holding her big fluffy ragdoll kitty. A buddy I knew was in prison and had requested some pics of women to decorate his cement wall I guess. so I sent him the pic for his cell. Labeled it...
(girlfriends name)'s big hairy pussy.
Actually, large flying creepys are what get to me. June bugs, flying praying mantis, horse fly, beetles, other giant unknown nasty fliers, etc... ugh, I fucking flip out when they are anywhere near.
With the exception of dragonflies. I like them.
Imagine if spiders had wings? I'd never go outside.
Sniper and I have two awesome Kitties named Yellow Belly and Smokey...
Yellow Belly is more like a dog than a cat, I think. He comes when he is called, walks on a leash, and follows Sniper everywhere. Smokey is still a baby, but YB is getting her trained too.
The girls made a crown for YB this day, and he was the King...the cats kind of rule the house :-)
Told ya I was comin' back... Say you missed me... Say it like ya mean it!
You gotta admit... NOTHING says MERRY CHRISTMAS!! like a pair of Yorkie balls staring you right in the eye!! haha...
That's my personal hero, Junior!! Got him a week after our other YorkiePoo accidentally drowned in our new swimming pool... Best Rx for a broken heart a man could get!! Somebody got me the doctor... LOL
That's horrible.
When I cleaned pools I came one day to a customers house & the old female boxer was gone. i asked what happened & was told she drowned in pool. Husband found her & jumped in trying to save her but was too late. I'm glad I wasn't the one that found her. She was my Wednesday morning buddy too when I cleaned that pool.
LOL @ X-mas Yorkie balls.
Found this on Youtube & had to share. Fucking cutest thing I have ever seen. I shoulda kept the owl I tried to help mend. He looked a lot like this one. So funny.

very cute!
Very awesome Cato. great idea. What's a good program for a total noob to use to make a slideshow like that for youtube? I have so many pics of my pets, would love to be able to do something like that.
And I mean total NOOB! I just realized my wireless mouse wasn't working because I had the battery in backwards. derp
Got a tip from Sadaist about posting pictures, so I am just posting another photo of Yellow Belly chilling with one of Sniper's guitars...hoping it works...
Came out perfect. LOL...kitty fits well in the curve of that guitar.
Wait.....isn't there a type of guitar string called cat gut? You better keep an eye on Sniper. String snaps &..."heeeeeree kitteh kitteh"
AHA!
No wonder we had a litter of puppies. I caught them like this.
But they loved each other. So it was ok.
I found the photo , Bronius a male cat is trying to hug my dog Suo.Cats and dogs can be good friends, when my dog Suo, (dog in lithuanian) recovered from the surgery and could walk again, as he needed more space I had to introduced him to the cats!! And they lived together without problems...incredible In fact Suo made his best friend a young male cat, they played, eat and slept together, i will try find and post a photo of them.
Always the dog ate first, but before touching his food, he showed his teeths grunting, walked to grab Bronius from the neck and carrying him like a puppy, sat him in front the meat bowl and wait for him to eat first. LOL
Just incredible, but you know that sometimes friendship could turn into love.........
Very cute. Thanks!
In fact, THANKS to everyone so far that have shared their babies here. I'm loving this thread.
My last Great Dane was put down 5 years ago and I don't even have any photos of her or my other Danes but I seen this and it reminded me of her
