I don't know what went down with Hyman, but I do know when I "went rabid" (had a very public breakdown on these boards when my marriage ended), he was very supportive. He sent me some really positive pm's at a time when I was getting beat up pretty bad on the boards.
I don't like hearing pedophile shit, but I can never forget that he reached out to help pull me out of a really nasty place.

Never understood how people can be nice and caring one minute and snap like that.
He went from being a very good poster at DDLR (and here initially), but had some sort of epic meltdown of sociopathism, almost as if he was an angry troll the whole time. As far as the pedo stuff, I'd rather not get into it too much to say he really like posting online porn in DDLR threads, which is fine by me, but he once posted pics of pubeless girls and no tits that looked like they were about 12--waayyyyy over-the-line shit! When confronted (as I'm pretty sure he knew he would be, but perhaps not the EXTENT it would go), he threw the typical indignant shitfit of bullshit semantics saying that every girl was 18 or above. But whether they were or not, it was pretty clear they were creepy fetish pic's for guys that needed a Chris Hanson intervention and liked prepubescent girls....

Yeah, I found that odd, too. When Tiki and I lost someone very close to us through some very horrible circumstances, he called us several times to offer his shoulder and an ear, even offering to visit since he didn't live too far away. He was a teddy bear in person. I don't know how he could turn into such a freak, but when he snapped, he snapped in a bad way.
