I just find it odd that while no one has ever been able to exactly pin down just what it is that Jackson and Sharpton do for a paycheck, they are always capable of affording to hop on a plane in order to make their usual speeches and rabble-rousing nonsense, acting as advocates for what allegedly passes for modern black morality.

In legal terms it's called extortion.

Take for example his shakedown of Toyota. He claimed there weren't enough minorities working in their factories and he threatened to shut them down and make them look bad in the press and Toyota buckled, as part of the deal they diverted part of a $300 million bond offering to his supporters. Toyota claims the bond offering was merely a "coincidence," unrelated to its agreement with Jackson to boost minority participation at the company. Yeah, right.

How about when his sons received beer distribution franchises from one of the nation's largest breweries after threats of a huge boycott?

The man is nothing but a criminal operating as a self proclaimed minister. The difference between him and Anthony Soprano is that he only puts a FIGURATIVE gun to your head.

that video is pure race baiting - I could drive down to my cities impoverished section or any neighborhood for that matter, even in front of my house sometimes - and video a small group of kids/young adults wearing hoodies up and baggie jeans any night of the week - then post that vid and ask - do they look suspicious ?

the answer without the college campus as a setting and the light of day and the answer might be - maybe ..

This story is a classic case of how 24 hour news cycles can take conjuncture and speculation and spin it into "news".

On the one side.....people are trying to portray this kid as a drug dealing hood, a kid who was asking to be shot. Using the thinnest of evidence to paint him as a gangster, trying to connect the dots to a larger picture that may or may not be true.

The moralists are blowing his suspension from school out of proportion......"He's a thug because he got suspended", how many people here were ever suspended from school? Does that make you a thug and in his case, justifies the killing? He tweeted/Facebooked about pot......wow! A teenager who smokes dope and gets suspended from school! He deserved it, he should of been hung!!!!!!!!

They're trying to desperately paint this kid into a picture that'll fit with the, "be afraid, very afraid", news bullshit that sells advertising time.

On the other side.....you have a self-appointed vigilante who went looking for trouble and found it. This guy has made how many calls to 911? Walking around armed in a gated community.....so they portray this guy as an aggressive vigilante who was itching to kill him some thugs! Is this fair and unbiased reporting or sensational journalism to fill time, in absence of any real facts.

Then you brig in the grieving family who paint this kid as a saint.......of course his mother is going to say good things about him, even serial killers parents do that.

You bring in the other guy's friends who paint this guy as a hero......defender of truth and justice.

Then you get the opposite side where they say this guy was itching to kill someone......was an aggressive racist just waiting for someone to confront him so he could kill.

Then you get the opposite side where they say this kid did nothing wrong other than walking at night while being black.

All this airtime and print being dedicated to this story when we have the most bare bones of facts......so-called experts claiming innocence and guilt depending on their personal agenda.

The truth is we may never know the complete story.......but that hasn't stopped this fucking news media fiasco from trying to become the "story of the century".

Wonder who'll they get to play the kid in the movie of the week that's already in production!
