    Thumbs up RIP Earl Scruggs

Hearing some of the stories on the radio yesterday, I couldn't help but see the similarities between Earl Scruggs and EVH, both developed new styles/techniques/languages on their respective stringed instruments, both were heavily imitated, and the most recent interview NPR had in their vaults had Earl Scgruggs beaming with pride about having the chance to play in a band with his sons later in life.

So RIP to Earl Scruggs, a true pioneer and heackuva banjo player.

Banjo players always amaze me. Those fuckers are shredding that thing up. I've never even picked one up, but it sure looks like fun if you can do it.

    RIP dude.
