General help
The MGC Chatbox Evo is really easy to use

You can :
  1. Send chats : you just have to enter the text in the dedicated input field and then to validate it by pushing the return key ou by clicking on the OK button.
  2. Format the chats :
  3. once you un-collapse the chatbox formatting toolbar by clicking on the BBCode button, you have access to different formatting options for your chats. You can format a chat by selecting a part (or the totality) of it and then select one of the buttons/list. You can also add empty formatting tags by selecting nothing and clicking one of the buttons/menu thus allowing you to add the chat text afterwards between these tags.*
  4. Access to the different channels : you can have access to different channels restricted to only some usergroupds or for specifics use of the chatbox. The different channels are accessible from the buttons on the left of the chatbox.*
  5. Edit your chats (or others chats) : the edition of a chat can be done by a simple double-click on it.*
  6. Use specific commands : some commands can be accessible in the chatbox depending on the will of the administrator(s) of your forum. These commands let you execute specific actions of formatting, management, etc... You will herebelow the information on the command which are accessible to you. You must notice that you are not forced to use the command prefixes (/command_name) when you use them in the channel they are attached to (except in the general channel).*
* : Depending on the settings chosen by the administrator(s) of the forum, you might not have access to all these features.

New Google Heads Up Display Glasses and Contact Lenses Are Just Around The Corner....

    http://www.slashgear.com/google-proj...aled-04221528/

This week Google is showing off their next gigantic project, a pair of augmented reality glasses that connect with your whole Google experience: Project Glass. This “Project Glass” experience is part of the Google X offices for experimental projects and is certainly not an April Fool’s joke, though if it’d been released several days ago we may have tagged it as such. Instead this fantastical vision for the very near future is shown in a demonstration video that has us flipping over the prospect of this product being released in the very near future.

This project is not a prop, it’s not a joke, it’s the real deal – and Google is detailing it via Google+, of course. This project is being touted by Google X employees at a futuristic vision that could very well come to fruition very soon. They’re looking for your input, in fact, to drive the project forward from the very real place its at today. Have a peek at this demonstration (virtualized, of course) video to see what this is all about:
    http://www.youtube.com/embed/9c6W4CCU9M4

The actual device is a pair of wrap-around glasses with a clear display that sits in front of your eye (the left, for now), and leaks surrounding the glasses have been popping up for months. It appeared back then that these would be Terminator-tech, while now we’re seeing that it’s much more than that – it’s a fully integrated Google apps experience. What’s more than this, the project could potentially not just sit around your head – this tech could get as close to your body as a contact lens.

The image you’re looking at above is a contact lens being developed by Google X which Google X employee Babak Parviz notes allows pixels to be sitting right on top of your eye. Freaky prospects on the horizon!

    Sweet find, HR.

I love this shit. Can't wait to see it in action for real.

I gotta dig up my "Gorilla Glass" thread from way back, because it's actually in use now on some new tablets and phones.

Can't wait for the suckers who shelve out $1000 dollars for this toy, while I pay half that for a PC tower that I build myself.

Shit, I could probably buy all the parts to make an extremely fast PC at the same price I could buy one of those Google vanity glasses.

Man...we are going the wrong way. Wasn't so long ago when we didn't even have computers. What the fuck did we do with our time then? Oh yeah, hung out with friends smoking & playing albums.

That video restores a little faith back into mankind. Seeing the driver stop & run out to check on the man was not what I expected. Seems nowadays they flee the scene, or stay in the car to finish their call so they can then dial 911 from their front seat. Good for him. I hope he realizes it was not his fault & there was nothing he could do. Notice he began to swerve but there just wasn't enough time.

Reminds of that scene in Meet Joe Black. I could watch Brad Pitt getting flung all day long.

Him rushing to his aid I think that is a bare fucking minimum, surely we're not at the stage where that even needs to be commented on.

I hit a kid once who jumped backwards into the middle of the road. He was ok just a little bruised and I was fucked up about it for hours.

He could have been inspired by a starving ambulance chaser or decided what the hell, it never hurts to try, juries are stupid and I might get a big insurance settlement.

Honestly these people should be rounded up, put in a big capsule and fired towards the sun.

Surely you wouldn't do that on the interstate?

Is it not illegal to cross an interstate there, I think it is here?

It's illegal to use the interstate for foot travel or bicycle travel. It's only legal to walk on it if your car breaks down and you need to set up flares or assist someone in an emergency. Interstates in city areas have fences around them. You have to jump the fence to get to where the road is and it's illegal to be there. Often you will see signs posted that say "No Pedestrians".

Well, if it was downtown Seattle, then odds are she wasn't driving fast enough to actually hurt him. You can't even drive 60 through there at 3:00 in the morning anymore.

Worst I ever heard about happened near where I lived at the time. The reaper wanted to make damn sure this dude was dead. The freeway was at a spot where it goes up & over another freeway underneath. Anyways....

Dude was doing over 100mph and lost control. Vehicle rolled multiple times. He was thrown from the vehicle. After his body was done skidding & bouncing at high speeds on the pavement, his body flew OFF the road over 35' feet to the freeway below. Then he was struck by a minimum of 2 more passing cars.

    Flipped - multiple times
Ejected - at extreme high speeds
Bounced - all over the freeway
Dropped - 35' + feet to pavement below
Run over - by 2 more vehicles traveling at freeway speeds.

Any one of those things would have been enough to kill a man. DAMN!
