Yeah there was a fourth row, Eddie's side single ticket in Philly (Zempi was helping me out) but I don't have an Amex card and by the time I stupidly realized that merely having the presale code wasn't enough, it was gone.

Appreciate it but now the seats are getting worse for Philly so I'll just do what I did last time, which is go to StubHub. Not going to race to buy an 8th row ticket on Wolf's side. Also we know that great seats (unsold VIP packages) open up shortly before the show too.

As far as Cleveland goes, I definitely don't want to commit to a ticket just in case something goes wrong and I can't make it. It'll be last minute for that one as well. There's no way for this concert and these prices that I'm going to get face value if I have to dump a ticket.

Cavs/Q uses Flash Seats, so that's where you'll want to look. they can be transferred to you and you swipe an ID at the gate, they give you a "seat locator" and that's it. no more paper tickets.

Never heard of that site, thanks. Will go on there as well as Ticketmaster the week before the show.

I know that Bruce Springsteen does something like that with his shows to combat scalpers. For the good seats the only way to purchase them is with credit card, and no tickets of any kind are issued. Your credit card is your ticket. Of course if you do need to get rid of the ticket for legitimate reasons I guess that's a problem.

set up an account, then you can buy, sell, or transfer tickets. say one of us can't show up until later, i'd transfer the ticket to them and they swipe their ID and get in.

i think the Denver Nuggets and their arena use the same system. i was worried that cutting TM and Live Nation out would hurt us, that maybe big LN tours would pass us by but so far it doesn't look that way.

this was my first purchase through Flash Seats so we'll see how it goes. there are also ticket kiosks at a local pharmacy chain, but i don't want to be stuck behind some dope who can barely use an ATM let alone figure out the ticket machine.

I did set up an account on there but I don't see Van Halen listed. Jumps from "Rod Stewart/Stevie Nicks" on 7/20 to "Apassionata The Beginning" on 8/3, whatever that is.

i looked at the same page, probably won't be many tickets for sale until the regular sale starts and people try to cash in. regular sales are on theqarena.com site, but it ends up going through Flash Seats.

still is some kind of scalping going on, some people are asking way too much (IMO) for Aerosmith tickets. especially if there are still tickets available.

All of these shows start out with scalper prices. And then as the show draws near they come down, most of the time for under face. The only issue I have is that single seats are tougher to get than pairs. But then again good seats always pop up a day or two before the show on Ticketmaster (or whatever site the venue uses) without fail.

Yeah I fully intend to be there. Given that Cleveland is 430 miles from where I live, my plans to go can be derailed alot more easily than if this were in Philly. But unless something comes up or God forbid my car isn't working right at the last minute, I'm in.

While I'm posting I'll say again, anyone who wants to carpool to this show from the Philly area or who is on the way to Cleveland please let me know. I have room for 4 other people besides me. My route will be I-476N to I-80W to cut down on tolls.
