I realized that I probably love "I'm Shakin'" because it has the same riff as the 'Heatmiser/Snowmiser' songs.

I've always had a lot of respect for Jack White... even more now after reading a current interview asking if he would ever get back together with Meg and reform The White Stripes. Instead of saying something that would make him look foolish in the future, he said he would do it if he was bankrupt and needed money... refreshing honesty.

Blunderbuss sounds like a less quirky WS album with the things that all the WS critics used to claim they needed to be any good... e.g. better drumming and some bass guitar. I think the disc is being released on Tuesday in the states.

He's high on my list of artists that I'm jealous of. Gained a lot of respect for him watching It Might Get Loud. He really knew very early in the game how to craft an original identity. I spent my formative years trying so hard to sound and look like other people. He, much like Dave, mastered the art of being original while borrowing from others at the same time. I also admire how God damn busy he keeps. I'll check this CD out.
