    Van Halen Postponements

    12:10 PM Thursday

    Van Halen is postponing all dates after the band’s June 26 gig in New Orleans.

    So far, no reasons are being given for the postponements affecting more than 30 concert dates. Earlier today, newspapers in Salt Lake City and El Paso reported that promoters didn’t offer explanations for the bad news.

    Other markets affected include Philadelphia, Baltimore, E. Rutherford, Detroit, Cleveland, Cincinnati, Memphis, Spokane, Reno, Fresno, Wichita and Milwaukee.

    Van Halen is touring in support of A Different Kind Of Truth, the band’s first album of new material with original frontman David Lee Roth in 28 years, and is the first VH album to include Eddie Van Halen’s son Wolfgang playing bass guitar.

                                  What the dilly? We went so long (in Van Halen years) without any controversy, rumor, or speculation!

                                  Hope this doesn't jeopardize the WI shows...

                                  And I REALLY don't like this news coming right before the St. Paul show.

                                              Maybe the dates were just added too quickly & these guys wanna take a break. plus the dates were just backtracking through areas close to where they had already played. Maybe they want to do overseas first, then come back & wrap up a final leg in the US. These guys deserve a short break though. Not unheard of.

                                              Let's just hope everyone is still healthy.
