Despite the shitty recording quality that gave me chills. That sounded as hungry as any recording I've heard from the 1979 shows.

The way a lot of you guys here feel about Light Up The Sky....exactly how I felt about Little Dreamer in 2007. Was a dream come true to finally see Van Halen play it live. (Seen Dave play it before once)

By the way, based on available evidence there are only two songs (not counting the solos) that have been performed at every classic Van Halen show since their first non-California show in Chicago on March 3, 1978--Runnin' With The Devil and You Really Got Me. I don't think they're about to change that now.

Agree it will never happen - it was their first hit, they're almost REQUIRED to play it. Trust me, they're probably sick of it too, but as someone I once worked for that had a few hits said "You think we LIKE playing that same tune night after night 20 years later? We have to, or the casual fans will be pissed!" They viewed it as the "curse" but recognized it was what helped them get to where they were, and they OWED it to the fans that wanted to hear it. Probably a similar deal here.
