I remember the first time I saw the top picture of Eddie during the VH II recording at Sunset Sound. It was in a magazine probably around 1980. It looked so exotic and I was wondering what his secret was. All I can say is nobody had a guitar rig like that before or since. All the fast food wrappers, booze bottles, and beer cans made VH look like some wild mofos. Dave later said they intentionally made the place a mess for visual effect for the pictures.
