At Daves house that sounds encouraging
At Daves house that sounds encouraging
fuck your fucking framing
yeah.
I'm gonna record it.
and I'm also gonna record another program that contains interviews and some live footage from this tour, on Saturday. the contents may be similar to "Song to Soul" though.
hey btw. I see the Japanese promoter UDO saying "Filming the show is not allowed" on their website.

that's not good.
Don't notice most of my posts are less than 2 lines...

Every time I think of Japanese stadium rock concerts, I think of the last scene of Spinal Tap.
I brought my pencil!!!
hey. it was aired last night. was pretty interesting. Dave, Al, and Ed talk about Jump, their club days and some other things. Ted Templeman and the editor in chief of Guitar World appearing as well.
I'm uploading the video onto youtube right now under the name of ESPSUCKS.(it means ESP's guitars are really not good)
wait for a while.
Looking Forward To See What The Guys Are Doing At Dave's House.

done. but got this message
" This video has been removed because it is too long"
haha. I'll try again.
Thank you, Cato-san.
ok, just uploaded. this is the TV program which was aired last night in Japan, about VH's No. 1 hit tune "Jump".
I divided it to 4 parts because it was too long(45 minutes or so).
already got warning messages. download the videos before they get removed
Domo Cato-san....
I could've done without the Guitar World dude, but other than that, I enjoyed it.....
That much for one CVH song. A "Behind the Music" would be a a miniseries. No wonder it hasn't been done.
Interesting... clearly this wasn't produced by Van Halen... there's far too many shots of Michael Anthony throughout the video.
It would appear the band discussion was filmed after the US tour concluded or near the end of it based on Ed's hair cut. I wonder if they filmed any other discussion beyond jump?
Fairly nice history of the early Roth VH years. I was surprised they wasted a whole minute on Hagar and 5150 but was thankful they jumped immediately to ADKOT!!
"If you want to be a monk... you gotta cook a lot of rice...”
"Explain what you mean by punched in, Ed..."
I like to pay close attention to the things I'll forget later...
Surprised they are only doing two shows in Japan... looks like one is already sold out.
Sure seems like a long trip to haul all that gear and stuff for only two shows...
Dave don't want radiation...
Can aaaaaanyyyybody, for the luvagod, tell me how ADKOT is doing in Japan?? Hoping third times a charm here.
At 8:55 on the 4th video, when they're all laughing...PRICELESS!
It's so easy

One could almost hear that song as many times in this interview as was played in the last 28 years.
However, I just ruv the song and David Ree Roth is so rikeable in it.
Great to see Ted, Don and the boys raughing it up though!!
45 min video ... the hagar years get 45 seconds ... sounds about right in my book
The videos are making their rounds on the various sites, got Cato the credit he deserves for them....
should I change the video titles to "Visit WWW.ROTHARMY.COM #1~4"?
or
"VH links sucks as hell #1~4"
Dave's explanation of the lyrics / sentiment is very Zen.
I'm glad to hear Alex talking a bit about his playing on that - even thought he was saying 'with my jazz background' blah blah - but it is a nice reminder of the fact that his playing is one of the standout things on that tune. Very very musical drumming - I'm no drummer, but there's just a lot of variety in his touches, and it is all pretty subtle; never gonna dominate over everything else, yet if you listen closely, he's playing his own little developing unfolding thing throughout.

You da man, Domo Cato-san! Thank you.

Far be it for me to criticize but it appears that this Ben5150 character may be a bit of a fuckpuddle.

Looks like Roth has turned even Alex around now.
