I've got some catching up to do :-)

Here is a soup I made for lunch this week. I think it's soup, but everybody else calls it a stew It's tomatoes with lentils, kidneybeans, onion and a LOT of curry. Both red curry paste, curry powder and green curry paste. Very tasty, but maybe a bit too strong.

A spinach lasagne I ate at some restaurant. Tasted good. I liked the sallad around it the most :-)

Pop Tarts are basically breakfast junk food.



White flour pastry filled with artificially flavored & colored "fruit" fillings. Horrible shit, actually....

Meanwhile, here in Hell, I'm having a sandwich made from leftover dragon-roasted turkey and cranberries.

They're not completely horrible for something you can eat in five minutes on the way out the door. But they're not good for you and there are 50 other sugary breakfast fat-pills I'd rather eat first...

Well it depends really.I am usually really strict about what I eat so in general I would say no,but I had a killer craving for chocolate so these were particularly good

Well, they might be better in the UK, because at least they would still have sugar and not the awful high fructose corn poison in them. But there are better alternatives.....



These would be nominally healthier and definitely taste better.... but it's still essentially white flour and sugar, so not something you would probably want to eat on a regular basis.

That is actually recipe from Dalmatia. They eat all their greens like this. You take maybe one potato, and either spinach, cabbage, mangold, brussel sprours, etc. Cook it in water together, remove from the water, season with salt and olive oil. Really easy and delicious.
I who grew up with this love it. My moms family, who aren't from Croatia, they didn't like it at first. They never ate it before, they grew up on red meat, potatos, canned meat, etc. But soon after they were craving it, now they love it too :-)

Aaaw, for real? You're so sweet! I can try and see if there are any in a shop here, that is specialised on American food and snacks. I have never been there before, i hope it still exists :-)

Not bad. A lot of people I know in endurance sports (cycling, running, etc) eat those rather than Power Bars or similar which cost 10x as much. Same basic macronutrient profile. Also good for your backpack when hiking or camping.
