Found a new old band that never got the accolades they deserved way back when. A Baltimore band that does shows in that region (and Monsters of Rock) only. What a great kick ass band - everyone's solid. Someone please post "Atomic Bombs" from M3 2011 on my behalf - would appreciate it. Saw them in Delaware last week and sorry I'm missing the show in Erie PA tonight - they're that good...they got screwed by Atlantic Records and never made it mainstream but they sure as hell deserved it

Used to listen to a lot of Kix...a buddy of mine in the Navy was from Balto. He played them incessantly.

They were around forever. Kinda on the fringe of the 80s metal scene. Had some moderate success with their album Blow My Fuse and a minor hit with a power balled, "Don't Close Your Eyes". I always liked the song "Cool Kids".

I remember these guys for the 'don't commit suicide, bitch' song they did. But I also remember these guys when they opened for Dave. Roth's road crew beat the living shit out of them backstage for disrespecting Dave by playing 20 minutes over the time allowed to them for the umpteenth time. Enough was enough.

Dave gave them a golden opportunity, and they managed to abuse it by overplaying their slot and acting like a bunch of cunts....and in the end they got corrected.

They'll go down in history as the only other band besides Guns-N-Roses that Dave picked as an opening act that actually abused that privilege.

If they pulled that shit with Dave, you know they did it with other bands they opened for. Maybe that's the reason they never did much.

The band wasn't much better than okay. The singer has one of the most annoying voices I've ever heard.

Wow - never heard that story. After seeing the original post here I was gonna go back and listen since I haven't heard them in a while, maybe even download some songs if I still liked. But now they're on my shit list. You fuck with Dave, you don't get on my iPod.
