Olympic Thread Damn it

Mo Farah's 10,000 win was probably the most impressive thing I've seen so far in this Olympics. Over that distance so much can change in the course of a race that can mess up any pre-race plans. It's such a battle of mind and body. His finish was truly majestic, I thought.

And, yeh - as Sesh is alluding to with Andy Murray's comment about running 400 laps in HIS training and not being able to match Farah's last lap time ... even though the commentary on UK TV, if you heard that, was going on about the pace not being that fast, it looked damn fast to me.

I take my hat off to those 10,000m guys - awesome athletes.

It was amazing, and so was Galen Rupp taking the Silver by sprinting past the usually dominant Ethiopians and Kenyans. Rupp actually threw-up a little bit after...

LOL I was watching the Womens' Ten Meter diving event yesterday, and I think Tania Cagnotto finished fourth. But the camera kept panning in on her ass after she went into that little warming pool they have after every dive which they didn't do with any other diver...

They would be perfect for the Muff Diving event.

this morning NBC ran a seven-minute piece about this Chinese hurdler...then he goes out and trips over the first hurdle. guy's had problems with his Achilles, could be the issue today too.
