This could be a very confusing proposition if one actually works from home...
The only times I didn't go straight home from work was when I was in the military ( I lived on base or on a ship, I was home) and pay day when I was a carpenter. It was mandatory that all carpenters get drunk at the local watering hole after work every friday. Peanuts and beer and talking shit about who's the best carpenter. Any other job I'd at least go home long enough to check the answering machine and take a dump. When I was younger I'd head out after and find someone else to party with but as I got older I just got out the bong and turned on the tv.
