Zack is okay...did see BLS live......kinda boring after a while....

Paul Gilbert is a MONSTER...never got the chance to see him...hated Mr Big....maybe I'll see him solo.............

Yngwie is still a sick player..........

Agree Zakk is "okay" here...worst tone of the three. Gilbert and Yngwie rip, no surprise there...think Gilbert played more interesting licks overall, but Yngwie's tone was a bit warmer.

Gilbert first, Zakk, and Yngwie last.

Zakk can at least play a decent riff. Those other two might have all the talent in the world but to me as a music listener not a player they seem to play fast and/or fancy just for the sake of playing fast or fancy. I prefer the old school riff after riff style. When free style playing or soloing. Fast and/or fancy playing doesn't alway equal good music.

Zakk's solo on 'no more tears' is in my top 10...Paul is a monster shredgod and writes a mean tune, but yeah tonally a bit thin... Yngwie, meh.

One of the lads is a totally Zak fan and we wind him up and call him Zak squealde , one of the various versions of crazy train on youtube was like he was going for some record of pinched harmonics ... He kept trying to jam a song in between squealstock.
Ain't bad mouthing him he is still an awesome guitarist and I totally dig him just once you notice something it's all I could pick up from this one particular track.

If you want to appreciate Yngwie try playing a scalloped fretboard without going sharp. Not easy. I appreciate these guys skills but I'm not digging the feel and tone. It sounds like a video game to me.
