I'm downloading it. God only knows when (or if) it will actually air in the States.
The previous Red Dwarf series usually showed up here on the PBS public broadcasting stations during their annual pledge drives. It's never aired on a commercial network here that I know of.
Like many British comedy series, somebody tried to make an American version of it, but no network ever picked it up. Which is probably just as well, because I saw the pilot and it was awful. Not even the presence of the REAL Kryten could save it
The original British series has a "cult" following over here though. An ex girlfriend got me into it, way back in 1991.
It's class , a show that got funnier and cleverer with every series .

This episode seemed more like "classic" Red Dwarf than anything in Series 7-9 did, in my opinion. Let's hope the rest of Series X is true to form.
