That makes sense! This cut should have been in a Tarantino film!

Interesting..... I wonder if he's gonna put up all the radio shows, or just a select few?

They shut that train wreck down pretty quick, were there more than a few shows to begin with?
I started feeling sorry for him when he got to this point.

Let me guess.... Bleater is a Dopie & Assholey fan?
Well, it was a train wreck. Didn't have to be, but it was.

4 hours of talk a day, 5 days a week from someone who likes to keep a private life couldn't work.
A lot of the problem was a lack of guests from CBS, no guests for the first 2 weeks and he wasn't allowed to play music. So Dave, a beginner to radio was meant to speak straight to the audience for close to 40 hours minus commercials? If he had read his whole autobiography that wouldn't have got him past the 3rd morning FFS.
There are 2 theories, one that it was a conspiracy to have someone after Howard fail to then make it easier for the next guy the second is that CBS management were completely useless. As with most conspiracies the good money is on the big organization being incompetent...

Also just the simple fact that a decent radio program takes a while to come together. Howard Stern readlily admits (as was seen in his movie) that he wasn't exactly an instant success in radio. Aside from the other issues between Dave and the corporate suits, the show didn't really have enough time to find an audience.
Not to mention it didn't even air nationally. The other "mini-me" hosts that CBS hired to replace Stern in other markets (Adam Carolla, etc.) didn't really do a whole lot better. Perhaps one nationally syndicated show might have found a better audience?
Why did it get removed already?

Fuck off this is the least 'fanboy' fan site on the Internet, if anything it could do with being more positive.

if I haven't mentioned that earlier...the radio show got me to talk to the man for almost seven minutes about prostitutes...
so I think doing radio was a fantastic move from Dave!

Dave's site is still all dark... Either he's in mourning, or in a very dark mood, or... who knows?
Ed doesn't even know whether he's in Tokyo or NYC... Weird.
Edit: Maybe there's nothing to worry about, he's just listening to his hair grow back in the dark?

Does anybody have the show where Dave talked about A Bigger Bang by The Rolling Stones?
That one was hilarious and it was my first Dave show.

Just seen this on vhnd.com - the first minutes only, but it looks promising: Dave, the VH Bros and even Ted Templeman (separately) talking about "Jump" and the 1983/84 period.
Edit: well it's also about the sound, the early days and the other albums, but the main topic is "Jump".

These where actually on youtube in separate viewings during the time of the Japanese tour and I came across them while looking to see what the vibe in Japan was, and they compiled them... the one of Roth in the black suit alone though might be new but all the others I had seen before (definitely the ones of the band together, the history in Japanese, and the Templeman bit) minus the Japanese commercials lol
I have an urge for Japanese MILF vag after watching those commercials.

This is the re-broadcast version.
I posted the Japanese TV show "Song To Soul" here when it was broadcasted first in August of 2012. and it was re-broadcasted with some additional interview in March of 2013.
this is what Dave saying at 6:06
"Thanks for the support. Feel free to ask me anything, I will gladly help you. I'm David Lee Roth"
I put both versions on a DVD and sent a copy to ron(vhboots.com) and told him to share it at jamtothis.com at that time.
this video is not from my DVD but the footage itself is not rare nor exclusive. I don't know my DVD is still available there, though.

Saw that at VHND earlier today... no interest in hearing the documentary history and analysis of Jump.
I'd rather watch paint dry...
