                              Sadly, I missed that tour, which realistically would have been my first chance to see them. And unfortunately the last, considering it turned out to be their last tour (aside from the US Festival in 1983. I don't count the tour with the scab guitarists, and wasn't at all interested in seeing that.)

                              I was really hoping they would do a reunion tour, and it seemed like things were going in that direction for a while... but then of course Joe died, and the opportunity was lost forever

                                  BTW, that Shea Stadium show you saw has been officially released, at least on CD. I'm not sure if there's a DVD of the show (though they must have filmed it, since they put out a clip of "Should I Stay or Should I Go" at the time on MTV
