    For Those Of Us That Loved The Original 3-Piece Gov't Mule-Holy Shit!

    Saw an ad for this compilation in the current Guitar World (Alex Lifeson on the cover) at Publix supermarket, of all places. The collection is a 6 CD boxed set comprised of three full-length shows the original band (Warren Haynes, Matt Abts and the late and sadly missed Allen Woody) performed in Georgia over three days in April of 1996. The release is simply called The Georgia Bootleg Box.

    Great news! I remember buying a promo of their first album on cassette from a used record shop and being hooked from the first listen.
    What a dynamic these guys had live. Saw them once with Woody @ Mama Kin's on the Dose tour in Boston.
