Yes he is. All the actors are great. But then, most of them are British, and in general, British actors are the best on the planet.

Dude - it was fucking epic!! I won't spoil anything, but this was a freaking great Bond flick! I loved the ending and how it brought the franchise full circle to the old Bond movies. I cannot wait until the next one!!

Agree - time to up the production so we can see Craig as 007 again. I know there has been lots of legal drama for EON Productions, but the lag between films is maddening. They can't waste Craig's talent - he's the best Bond ever!

Can hardly wait to see it. Glad for the good reviews...I didn't care much for Quantum of Solace, but loved Casino Royale. I think Craig is a good James Bond.

I saw Skyfall yesterday. I think it will go down as one of the best Bond films of all time. Skyfall is far superior to Quantum of Solace, mainly because of its fascinating storyline and the focus on the characters. But another great thing about Skyfall is the numerous references to the early classics.

Daniel Craig was brilliant. Is he the best Bond ever? I still can't go past Sean Connery. I just think he was born to be Bond. Roger Moore was the Bond of my generation and probably perfect for the times. Different to Connery with his humour and charm. But Craig is right up there.

My top 10 Bond films in order:

                Thunderball
                Dr No
                From Russia With Love
                The Spy Who Loved Me
                Casino Royale
                You Only Live Twice
                Skyfall
The Man with the Golden Gun
                Moonraker
                Live and Let Die

I read a great story about the 50 years of James Bond in the Australian press. The story said that Daniel Craig had already been signed up for the next two Bond films. I won't give anything away, but after seeing Skyfall I expect we won't have to wait too long for the next one.

Heck, these three Daniel Craig Bond films have all only been 2 years apart or so. Not bad. Even 3 years is not that long a wait.

Yes, the very end of the film...at the office....absolutely blew my mind. I am reasonably sure that the next 2 films will be just as incredible, if not more so.

I think this has to do with the fact that the current generation of film makers grew up watching Bond, and so are FANS of the franchise.

                    Makes for a better product.

Much like the current Star Trek reboot. The last one totally blew me away. I had not had my brain fried by a movie on such a level in a LONG time.
And that was due to the cast and crew being fans of the original franchise.

This bodes well for Bond fans.

For an old Bond diehard like me (and obviously you) that last scene was a bit special.

I think you're right about the current generation of filmakers understanding what a James Bond movie should be all about, what we expect and what sets him apart.

                      "Bond......James Bond."

Skyfall was boring as it was predictable Granted, Craig is an exceptional actor but not at being Bond.
