I thought the album had some cool stuff on it. But it's not Dave. I think it hurt his career big time. What's the song about a monkey ? Daves low point for me. Love Sunburn & The Willie cover tune. Hell I thought the Diamond Dave album was better. If I was his manager at the time I would have told him half of this stuff is good. Now write a few rockers and you got something. He was too young to go this route. At least on an album. His live band was horrible that I saw this tour. Thought he was over. I really did. I enjoyed the show but walked away thinking his career was really over. It was a small club. It was full though. He looked like a fool on Leno. I was bummed. The 96 songs made me a believer again. Too bad the sisters fucked him.
