I'd like to hear him have a try at some Van Halen songs.

If I ever get a parrot I will play Van Halen's "On Fire" a lot. I want to hear a parrot hit those high screams.

If the parrot was good enough it could fill in for Dave on the next tour and give his voice a rest.

The only thing that kept Dave in the band was his other band members. Ted Templeman wanted to replace Dave because he could sing well. I think that just shows the brilliance of David Lee Roth. He made up for his lack of range by those high screams and his on stage moves. Dave making up for a weakness just made his overall performance even better. Yeah Eddie's playing was super but it was Eddie and Dave together that knocked me on my ass. I never saw or heard anything like that before.
