No, Cato san. Sorry. I do have the Toy Dolls version, though. And the Elakelaiset one too..
And that guy plays the wrong chord, normally it's F sharp MINOR. lol
These people don't know what good music is
Exactly what I was thinking...
I see you have Sweden Rock Festival there. Amazing gig :-)
I love this one

I downloaded the show the day after. When I saw the setlist, I almost had a heart attack. The King Will Return, Heart Of Stone, Wings Of Tomorrow... Not to mention one of the best renditions of TFC. And the first time we heard Start From The Dark.. Heavy as shit. I loved it right away.
Yeah, 'tis one hell of a gig...
The one in Madrid in 2004 is amazing too. Crazy audience all the way through.

What did they expect? Us waiting for months? Weeks? Days? I couldn't.
Um... Let's see... I can't honestly remember, but it was on a message board.
I remember that day: I was at work, and during a break, I saw IT. Immediately downloaded it, listened to it and decided to teach Norum licks to my students (I was a guitar teacher back then.. failed musician indeed)!!
It was a cool day, seeing these kids trying to play riffs from Scream Of Anger and Seven Doors Hotel!!! Priceless. One of the best days of that era.

This song is so fantastic! My favorite of Europe.
If you wanna know the bottom of what I think, here it is: Europe's most beautiful and killer solo is Tower Callin'. Actually, this is one of my 3 favorite Europe songs.
Every time I play this solo, it's like I'm completely elsewhere. I just Love it.
OOTW had amazing songs. Every song is great. The sound is the only problem. It might be a bit overproduced.
Ron Nevison did what he was told to, I think. Epic (thanks guys, for fuckin the band in the ass, and thanks to Erdtman too) wanted them to be Def Leppard. They toured with them later on, but those two bands are different. Record companies are pricks, here's another evidence.
OOTW is my favorite album with Kee. I jumped on the Red Fun album the week it got out !!! "Doctor Love, can't get enough, can't get enough of your loooooooove"... Kee kicked major ass on that one.
I saw Kee live two times with his own bands, he is mindblowing. He has gotten better since the 80ies.
I was actually given the opportunity to meet Erdtman. I was workning at a bar, and hanging out there, and I became good friends with a guy, who later turned out to be great friends with Erdtman.
But I didn't want to. What was I gonna meet him for??
You're right, I guess he wouldn't have given you the money he's ripped of the guys' back.
The guy has good tastes, remember...
Nah, come on. You did good.
Like kissing Dominique Strauss Kahn.
"I'm not a crook.... Hey baby?"
And both equally full of money. Actually they're ugly in every sense of the word.
Oh you mean these guys?
Who would want a bootleg of this crap band?
Probably Krusty....

No, Europe are great :-) they are just stuck with bad reputation.
Ah. I was not aware they were.
All I know of Europe is their Final Countdown video got a lot of airplay on MTV and then they kind of disappeared. I knew one chick who was hot for the singer. LOL! The thing about the states is guys with accents are going to score big with the girls. I bet they got a lot of poontang over here in the day.

Europe are my guilty pleasure. shhh.
I was once drinking with this dude and for some reason "Velvet throat" was mentioned and the convo went from Coverdale to "Golden throat" of Europe. The other dude looks me in the eye and says: "Greatest... Voice.... Of.... The.... 80's" LOL
Great first 2 albums. I also have a Live in Japan double LP in mint condition!
Always preferred Norum to Marcello, but to each his own.
But yeah, Out of this world, hmmm it's pretty processed. I also have the LP Total Control by John Norum, which has some great tracks. BOTH albums have a Final Countdownish-type song on there: Superstitious (Europe) and Love was meant to last forever (Norum). Those boys loved the trumpet keys!! And on the album "The Final Countdown" they also had "Love chaser" which had some similarities as well.

The sun is down
The day is done
The sky is dark
And i'm on the run
Yesterday is so far away
Have you heard Le Baron Boys demos? You HAVE to, if you haven't already.
This song is so great! We should have a Europe thread in music part of the forum.
I LOVE this band!
Hey, they played In The Future To Come, to celebrate the 30th anniversary of ROCK SM, you know, they were called Force, they won... Two songs were played that night: Future & King Will Return.
It happened on December, 13th in Stockholm, at the Hovet. And HERE. IT. IS
Cool move, but sloppy, if you ask me. But Cool Move, guys. Thanks from the early years fans.
And huh, Envy, darling?
Devil Sings The Blues is great. But I think that Forever Travelling is greater. That's the one I would have put out of that Almost Unplugged gig.. That, and Memories, UFO's Love To Love, Led Zep's Since I've Been Loving You and then, the big one: Thin Lizzy's Suicide. But then again, we fans love different songs, and the problem with Europe is: all of them are good.
