I 1st heard of them with Lumberjack & never listened to them because I hated that song so much.


But the song is damn cool. His voice is really powerful, and the background vocals sound like the thunder of hell comin'. Good shit. I will absolutely add this to my playlist rotation. Great song.

I saw them open for Aerosmith in LA in the early nineties. I had heard Lumberjack on the radio but I didn't know that was Jackyl until they played it. I thought the chainsaw had no chain until they cut a stool in half at the end of the song. I thought for sure they'd be the next GnR but it never happened.
