I was into his stiff from about 1990 until the early 2000s, then lost interest. Saw him play here in Gnashville 2wice. Once with Johnny Lang opening, once with Annie Lennox opening.
Cannot say anything bad about the man. Superb musician and songwriter. Unique sound. Deserves all the accolades he gets.Comment

The Police will always be one of my favorite bands EVER.
As for Sting, I absolutely adore The Dream Of The Blue Turtles, I love Nothing Like The Sun and I'm not keen about the rest, sorry. BUT you will never make me say (or think) that the guy's not fuckin' talented. If he wasn't, he wouldn't still be here... Oh, and I'm gonna make enemies I'm sure, but I didn't like the Police reunion. The only one of them three who had energy was, yeah, obvious as fuck, Stewart.Comment

That whole CD is the best candle, baby oil, back rub, bottle of wine, awesome sex CD of all times.
But sometimes you just wanna fuck your woman hard from behind and spooge on her tramp stamp. Thats where Van Halen & a bottle of whiskey come in.“Great losses often bring only a numb shock. To truly plunge a victim into misery, you must overwhelm him with many small sufferings.”Comment

I was/am a huge fan of the Police, and was into solo Sting up until Ten Summoner's Tales. After that it's too meh for me, like when Eric Clapton and Elton John went all soft pop.
I was standing in line for my Police reunion tickets and talking with an older guy who was also going. We talked about the Sting solo stuff, and then he asks if I had heard the lute music Sting did, and how he thought it was great...I told him "I really don't think you're going to like this Police show."Writing In All Proper Case Takes Extra Time, Is Confusing To Read, And Is Completely Pointless.Comment
