Me as well, as the songs just seemed forced and tedious. When the animated film version came about a few years later (as The Iron Giant), even Townshend, who in his role of executive-producer, must have realized this and jettisoned the soundtrack. To fair, the adaptation concerned a different storyline, so the songs would have made even less sense to the narrative.Originally Posted by Mr. Vengeance

I am a Townshend/Who freak. This album sucked. This is what you get when the Daltery/Entwistle influence is gone. Most of his other solo albums were Who songs that the Who rejected. They were Who songs.
