Nor do I. I really couldn't care less what the cover says if I like the songs inside. And I like both those albums better than any Sabbath album with Ozzy on it. But at the same time to me a rock band is mostly the guitar player and voice. They used the Sabbath name to make money. I don't blame them or really care, as long as the music gets put out buy a record company. No different than AC/DC. They were building a following for years and just when they were finally getting some attention in America Bon passes way. It's hard to blame them to not want to change the name and start all over. At least it had the ac/dc sound.( Well without the humor ) Unlike Ed's uninspired run with Hag.
Unholy shit, they actually made a video?
Didn't know bands did that anymore (since the channels that are supposed to play them DON'T)

There's a video I won't be viewing...
So, on Friday, my wife picked up 13 and it's still sitting in the wrapper waiting to be returned...
Fuck that album...
The only version I'd even contemplate opening is the Best Buy bonus disc and our Best Buy doesn't have it...
FUCK!
It's not that bad. My god you think John Denver is good ! I only listened to it twice but enjoyed it. The Best Buy version. Ozzy is the weak link but the music is cool. I couldn't care less Gezer wrote the lyrics the night before or whatever because I couldn't care less about lyrics for the most part. Unless they are pure cheese. You worry too much ! Lol.
I listen to everything on a real stereo...
And a much better one than most people have...
The album is boring as fuck...
The new Megadeth kills it by far...
I actually heard a blurb on the radio yesterday that Ozzy admitted that he did this for the cash grab.....gee, no shit?
The Osbournes have been near bankruptcy on several occasions....
I don't understand the "bonus tracks" bullshit at all with this album. The Best Buy edition, with the three extra tracks runs a total time of about 72 minutes, so it would all fit on one CD easily. Why bother with the gimmicks at all?
Had to have been Sharon's idea...
Well, I returned my unopened standard shit version and now I have the Best Buy version...
Here's my review:
Tracks 1 - 6 = garbage...
Tracks 7 and 8 plus the four bonus songs = the album that should have been...
I refuse to buy "bonus" albums. It just encourages bands to do more of it. Just put the good songs all on one album. Stop fleecing the fans!
I'll buy whatever version has what I want on it...
The album overall still sucks though...
For an album that 'sucks', you're certainly listening to it an awful lot - maybe you have masochistic tendencies.
Nah...
Megadeth still blows 13 away...
So you think DLR's voice has had better days? Listen to this.....

Gonna be a looong tour.
'Cause three holes are better than a hole-in-one!!!
Black Sabbath are playing here (Tampa) Monday. Plenty of tickets are still available, and the local classic rock station is announcing it in the ads as Sabbath's 'Farewell Tour'...for some reason, even if it does prove to be my last chance to see Black Sabbath, I just can't be bothered. Was lucky enough to see the band once in 1983 with Ian Gillan and once with RJD in 2007, and those were two great fucking shows. Saw Ozzy twice in the 1980s on the BATM and Ultimate Sin tours...I dunno. I think once Ward bailed (again), my interest level sort of dropped a bit, although it wasn't necessarily a deal-breaker for me (seeing as I'd seen Sabbath twice with two different lineups, neither of which contained Ward). Have seen quite a few youtube vids of the current lineup, and Ozzy is just not singing well anymore. I mean, listen to that version of Iron Man above - atrocious. I'd just as soon listen to the Paranoid album than pay even $30 for cheap seats to hear Black Sabbath 2013 if Ozzy's gonna be singing like that. I think I'm at the point where I'd rather remember the band in a good way than watch a doddering old man shuffling around onstage singing off-key. Luckily, the records are forever.
Scramby eggs and bacon.
The Sabbath concert was badass. They busted out some deep cuts. They played Into the Void second which was quite a statement. I guess Ozzy had some monitor problems in Texas but they were worked out before they got here.
I was really drunk and stoned.
gnaw on it
That really was terrible.
I saw BLACK SABBATH...the ENTIRE lineup in 1999....with PANTERA opening
no need to see 'em again......OZZY sounded damn good then....much better than now
I saw 'em on the first reunion tour in 1998, and when they headlined at Donington last year. There was a marked difference (although I enjoyed last year's performance a great deal).
I didn't say it was the best show I ever saw, I said it was badass and Ozzy's monitor problems were fixed. He wasn't completely off-key like in Houston or Austin.
I saw Ozzy's last tour and he was sounding pretty good. Much better than he's sounding on this Sabbath tour. He really can't remember any lyrics anymore, can he? Every song his eyes are glued to the teleprompter.
