...and please leave the Hagaris Horribilis where he belongs, I think we Aussies have suffered enough. Thank you!
"Michael Anthony of Van Halen..." nope darling...chickenshit it is...and the answer at 1:22 is standard for "we're sitting on our asses because nobody gives a fuck about us and we don't have a clue what we could do next"

The Outback Steakhouse has about as much to do with Australia as The Olive Garden does with Italy. It's a theme restaurant operated out of Florida.
All my uncles are dead.
Old age and bad hearts.
One silver lining, should the proverbial hatchet be buried between Ed and the other half, is that classic shows and recordings could one day see official release. I think with all of the bad blood tension that came out of the Mike A booting, the chances off vault release, short of the retooling of songs, became slim to none. Not over money either. Ed has that system rigged in his favor with regards to Mike's share. We'll just have to wait and see. That comment Mike made sure does align with this rumor, though.
They got one chain and it's supposed to be Australian food and then they have another chain called Texas Roadhouse. As far as I can tell the food is the same at either place. LOL! They both served this big deep fried onion thing and the steaks, shrimp, and chicken all seem the same. The only thing is the waiters try to be like Paul Hogan in one place and then in the other they do line dancing. It's a total corporate nightmare. Another reason the world has gone to shit.
Cerone's going to be pissed.......
The only thing I could see is Sam and Mike opening for Van Halen as "The Other Half" with their own band lineup, then maybe coming out and jamming for an encore. But even that is very farfetched. Isn't it rumored that VH has another album almost ready?
My thoughts on this have been echoed lots on this board .
And that is without wolf ed is just gonna stay home and walk the dog.
Wolf was the driving force for the reunion , more than likely the release of new music and the subsequent tour.
It's been said and I somewhat agree no wolf no van .
We will never see mike in the band unless wolf joins tremonti full time and if that happens ed goes back to being a total random equation.
To my mind there is no scenario where spammy gets back in the band , or at least gets back in a functioning one.
And maybe it's this simple ,compare 2004 tour to the last one , which does ed wanna do .
fuck your fucking framing

"We are part of the, not just the culture, but the geography. Van Halen music goes along with like fries with the burger." - David Lee Roth
I gotta admit, after seeing this, it concerns me that there might be some validity to it....
Think about it: He said just "Me and Sam".... If they planned to go out on the road with Mona and the other dude, that's not something MA that would have to keep a secret.....
But I also agree with what Lounge said... For a lot of general rock music fans, having both singers might be appealing to those who want to hear all of those fucking ballads....
Not me, baby.....
Man VA you normally have a Good BS detector , I think am a little less confident now
I wouldn't mind seeing Van Halen and Chickenface on the same bill...
That seems to me like a good bill in a promoters eyes...
But Edwad would never do it...
grant, the 4 of us will stay at your place this time?
Another one of those classic genius posts, sure to generate responses. You log on the next day to see what your witty gem has produced to find no one gets it and 2 knotheads want to stick their dicks in it... Well played, sir!!
Its odd from a business standpoint to do this just for an Aussie tour.
First Hagar really has zero drawing power outside the US.
Second for a US based band playing Australia is extremely expensive for assorted reasons including logistics. Its the reason many tours just don't go there despite selling well. The added expense of Hagar and Anthony would eat into that profit and not likely to add a ton to revenue since VH would sell in that market anyway.
Other reasons would be rehearsal (when do schedules match to have em together), personalities, and just return for the headache. I understand from Hagar POV makes sense but not sure how much added value for the VH side.
Plus you consider new material in the can already w Dave that puts em well on their way for another record in semi near future. Of course getting anything out that Eddie will sign off on is a longstanding problem but still hard to see that being scrapped. As far as being the surprise alluded to by Eddie remember at the time Hagar was still readily bad mouthing VH so if this goes back to then that would be odd.
Again its Van Halen so you never know, but financially a one off in Australia tour makes zero sense.
"So early June or early July would probably be the best bet for an Australian visit, based on those dates.
Rumours are also flying that the tour will feature both of the band’s frontmen from across their lengthy career – David Lee Roth and Sammy Hagar."
"Sam and I are gonna being doing some stuff this summer. We got some exciting plans..."
I'll tell ya, there's better alignment here than on my '90 Cultass Ciera. That's for sure.
I repeat:
