"Tim took the news very well, and handled it like a true professional,” continued Ryan. “Honestly, I think he was more confused than anything else.”

His running game is quite impressive, as well.

I think Tebow could have been a decent quarterback in this league if Peyton Manning didn't go to Denver.

He is a winner, and knows how to win games.

You're out of you're mind, he has the worst mechanics ever. He won because the Broncos dusted off a 100 year old offense using the QB as an option running back. He'll never start in this league again, and will be lucky to catch on as a slash-back...

Even Baby-Jesus can't turn him into a pocket passer...

I don't care about all the mechanics, he was 7-4 as a starter.

I kinda wanna see him get a chance somewhere.... maybe Arizona?

Mechanics are everything, and Tebow is a C-grade tight end, at best. Once a year, he should have the ball shoved his way for some sort of improvised option pass, yet other than that, his skill set just hasn't developed toward the point of being an NFL QB. Did he win in Denver? Obviously. But that is like saying that my first wife's pot roast didn't kill anybody the first few times she unleashed it at dinner parties and company picnics.

Right. He was winning as a starter, because of the reason I mentioned. They simply ran an old school wildcat that became passe by the early 1970's with the emergence of higher quality quarterbacks that could consistently read defenses and throw. But just like in the case of "The Wildcat," teams adjust and he became less effective. What did Tebow do in NY? He couldn't even unseat that fuckwit Sanchez, who also won a bit early, but now sucks harder than a whore in the Bronx during Fleet-week...

Winning is winning. Why couldn't some other team try running the "Wildcat"? Seems to me he was a come-back dude rather than a fader. NY never gave Tebow a chance.

Tebow hasn't really lost yet. I think he deserves a shot at starter to prove himself or crash & burn. I just don't get this league where you win but don't get to play because you don't look right on paper. Same thing with Marty Schottenheimer getting fired after a 14-2 season. Let Tebow start. When he goes 3-13 and throws 24 interceptions, cut his ass & never have to hear from his fans again.

Every team runs the "Wildcat," including the Jets. Tebow sucked when he started and failed his tryout because he throws like a girl, albeit a very butch lesbian one. He also hasn't done well in relief after Dirty Sanchez got pulled nor has he done much in the Wildcat. And running QB's don't tend to last very long, just ask RGIII. And he can actually throw...

If you give him a great, and I mean great, offensive line with a lot of weapons around him, Tebow might be okay. The problem is that there are few of those teams around and they already have franchise QB's who can make big throws to the marquee WR's...

Fuck the haters. He did better than franchise savior Peyton Manning, at least Tebow won a playoff game. You can talk shit all you want but until someone consistently beats him, then fuck off. How many NFL games have any of his critics won? His throwing motion, his footwork and Merril Hoge's analysis mean fuck all as long as he wins games and that is all he has done since he took the field as a ninth grader. So fuck them.

So did Sanchez. Where are the Jets now?

No one can consistently beat him because he can't beat out real starting QB's. He's a gimmick, and won because of an archaic offense that was dusted off and would quickly be easily defended. That's why the Broncos dropped him. You think Tebow would have beaten the Ravens? Really?
