I live by a guy that can drive a team of six horses. He's always getting hit up to drive stage coaches and things like that. I guess there is not too many people in the country that can drive big teams anymore. I actually got to ride in a Wells Fargo styled coach with him driving it at full gallop. Talk about scary as hell and dusty. The coach is slung on big leather straps and it sways. Supposedly it's to smooth the ride out. With iron rimmed wheels over rough dirt road the ride was still rough as hell. All I can say is people had to be dirty in the old days with all the unpaved roads.
