Always liked the Gibson Flying V. Some day when I have a little extra money I would like to buy the "wee vee" mini version just for some fun. I have the mini les paul already.

Personally, I prefer a late-70's headstock on V's... But that's a nice lookin' axe, nonetheless...
Why settle for something you have, if it's not as good as something you're out to get?

I know dude. lol. Don't you remember the thread I started a few years back where you posted all those & it turns out a lot of the guys enjoy the minis for fucking around with.

Love the top one in the pic.

and why did they only rip off 1/2 of the plastic on the pickguard for that sweetwater picture?

Beats the crap out of me.

Seems that the gummint found the only real problem was that Gibson was not performing due-dilligence on the origins of the wood seized in the 2009 raid. This rosewood for these axes was from the 2011, which was all returned to Gibson.

Personally I think axes look better with Chrome hardware.

It's almost always a great idea. Not so much on that V, the chrome-silver ratio seems off.

Chrome hardware on my pink (?!) Hamer Steve Stevens 1 wouldn't look right.

black hardware just fits modern look guitars like Ibanez RG or Jackson King V and I don't like them...

when did it come out, about 30 years ago?
