I was looking at joining the Virgin wine club too recently on account of the fact that as middle age looms large we seem to be getting through barrels of the stuff.
When I looked at the stuff you would be buying after the initial deal though it all looked quite expensive compared to just buying stuff on offer at the supermarket.
You could be spot on there, Sesh - but the convenience of deliveries coupled with the fact that local shopkeepers will less often be thinking, 'oh, it's that Scottish alkie again', when I cross the threshold, makes the Wine Club a potential winner!

Have you tried it? We had some here a few weeks ago and it's very, very good! I'm not a rum guy, but I did enjoy the shit out of it. It has a bit of a vanilla sweetness to it... I recommend it!

$50 is a little pricey, but not terrible.. It's about $30ish around these parts. You'll enjoy it. It's surprisingly good! We were doing shots with it and were all impressed.
