The level of competition is much higher. Last year the Mavs played 2 brutal 7 game series against the Spurs & Suns, before going to the finals. I know I'm biased because my team is in the west. But to me, that's 3 finals in a row the Mavs had to play. I think the top 5, maybe 6 playoff teams in the West, would beat the Cavs. The 6, 7 and 8th spots in the East had a losing record going into the playoffs. None in the West. The 5th seeded Rockets had the same record as the 1st seeded Pistons. The West will even better next year, with Portland and Seattle. Not to worried about Durrant. I read that he couldn't bench-press 180. Another Chris Bosh. Skinny forwards in the West don't cut it, ask Garnett. Then again, Duncan has 3 years left before he starts to slow down. So Durrant has a chance. This is just my opinion. What do you think POJO?Originally posted by POJO_Risin
As for the finals...
There's not much I can say to refute the East vs. West.
I don't totally agree with it.
Miami did win last year.
