Who do Ed and Al hate more - Dave or Sammy?

I'll give another listen. I'm not one for the cringe yelps but there's no reason he can't pull out that tune a little closer to the album, register wise. It's not too high and not too low to begin with.Comment

But then fast forward to 2000 - 2006... they took sucking and poor performances to a new level.
Sounds odd thinking it... but when you're young and great like CVH... you were still better when you performed poorly than most at their best. When you are old today like CVH when you suck... you suck... and you're old."If you want to be a monk... you gotta cook a lot of rice...”Comment

One of my favorite club days boots is the Golden West Ballroom show from '76. The band, Dave in particular, gets completely obliterated during this show. This clip opens with a very loopy and feelin' good Dave rapping himself to sleep practically about "all the pretty giiirrrlls.... comin' round.... to tahk to usss". They then go on to pull out a ripping version of the lost classic Babe Don't Leave Me Alone. Great harmonies, great drums, great so, great vibe and while there is no video, I believe no one fell down! Are there better versions? Sure, but I love how these guys went about their business as kids.

How many times do you think that idiot has answered the same exact "what if" question since the end of the '04 mess? His response always hits the press with a heading of "Hagar would entertain playing in VH again" as if feelers were put out to see if he'd rejoin the band. He's asked that question so much because the people who run in to that turd have no idea what else to ask him!! He dove into his response to this latest nitwit's query as if he spent a decades worth of nights laying awake wondering how he could get back in and look like some sort of savior while doing it, and he still stuttered out some b.s. about how things would have to go down if the band were ever to be graced with his presence again. Will he ever realize that his presence is not being requested? There's a better question.Comment
