I used to LOVE Calvin and Hobbes as a kid but unfortunatley, this comic does explain why hard rock isn't that cool anymore and why so many teenagers began listening to gangsta rap, then boy bands, then more gangsta rap and now weird electronic sounds synchronized to a computerized drum beat.
Sadly the only way for classic rock music to make a full comeback is to make it the most hated genre of music.How do you spell pretentious? S-A-M-M-Y H-A-G-A-RComment

Me too. I once had one of the infamous Calvin and Hobbes unlicensed tees that pissed off Bill Watterson back in the 1990s. It lasted quite a while and I was actually depressed when it was so tattered it was unwearable...
Actually, mine was pretty tame and respectful and was in the spirit of the cartoon. I recall he was pissed about drug and alcohol references on some of the other tees that were illegally sold at places like New Age Creations...Last edited by Nickdfresh; 04-30-2013, 05:46 PM.Comment

My bud was so into Clavin and Hobbes we used to get him the yearly/collection books that came out,.. for his Birthday, a few are signed by the writer and perhaps someday worth some big money, great cartoon.
My favs were when Calvin went into space to eradicate or create shinnanigans.

Here is another favorite. Being into photography, video and other visual media like nakid wimmins, I get a laugh out of this. For those of you with kids, you ever shine your kid on like that when they still believed everything you said??
